How conflict detection works

Same guard double-booked → red ring. Over 40h/week → amber ring.

The schedule computes two types of conflict server-side and surfaces them as rings on the shift block:

Double-booked (red ring + "Double-booked" badge): the same guard is assigned to two overlapping shifts. Both shifts get flagged.
Overtime (amber ring + "Overtime" badge): the guard's total weekly hours exceeds 40. Every contributing shift gets the badge.

Click any flagged shift; if your tenant is on AI Pro, the kebab menu has "AI: resolve conflict" which finds a better-fit replacement guard and reassigns. The server re-runs the compliance check before saving — the AI can't bypass cert requirements or unavailability windows.
